What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 2:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM.

Should you require an early arrival or late departure, please contact our reservations team in advance. While we cannot guarantee availability, we will always do our best to accommodate requests where possible.

Dorp is an adults-oriented hotel and, in keeping with the calm atmosphere of the property, we are unable to accommodate children under the age of 14 years.

No. Dorp does not hold a liquor licence.

 

Guests are welcome to bring their own wine, champagne or preferred tipple to enjoy during their stay, in the Salon or with meals. We do not charge corkage for inhouse guests.

 

A selection of non-alcoholic beverages, mixers and refreshments is available for purchase.

Yes. Breakfast is included in your stay and is served daily in the Salon.

Yes. Our kitchen serves seasonal, home-style comfort food throughout the from 12h00 until 21h00.

 

As seating is limited, we recommend booking lunch and dinner in advance, particularly during busy periods.

The Salon Restaurant welcomes both hotel guests and visitors by reservation only.

Our treatment room operates by appointment only, so we kindly ask that all treatments are booked in advance. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate walk-ins. We offer a selection of massages and wellness treatments, and availability is limited.

 

We strongly recommend booking prior to arrival, to avoid disappointment.

Rather than a traditional spa, Dorp offers a dedicated treatment room where guests can enjoy a curated menu of massages and therapies.

Yes. Guests have access to our gym and sauna facilities.

 

The gym is open daily from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Yes. Complimentary on-site parking is available for hotel guests. Please note that packing is limited, so Taxi arriving by taxi is recommended.

Yes. Dorp is often used for intimate celebrations, strategy sessions, workshops and small gatherings.

We welcome quiet celebrations and gatherings. However, Dorp is first and foremost a place of rest and retreat, and we do not permit loud parties, amplified music or events that may disturb other guests.

Smoking is not permitted indoors.

 

Guests are welcome to smoke in designated outdoor areas.

Yes. Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.

Dorp is approximately a 5-minute drive from the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC), making it a popular choice for conference delegates, speakers and corporate travellers.

Dorp sits on the slopes of Signal Hill, above the historic Bo-Kaap, with uninterrupted views across Cape Town, Table Mountain and Table Bay.

 

Although close to the city centre, Dorp feels wonderfully removed from it all.

Dorp is not a conventional hotel.

 

It’s a collection of houses, gardens, books, fireplaces, long lunches, thoughtful details and spectacular views. Guests come for the comfort, the character and the feeling of being welcomed into a home rather than checking into a hotel.
